Mira, amongst the stars known also as a red giant, and as the "Wonderful". Mira changed the attitude towards the sky of all people on earth and showed them the way to an ever changing cosmos, full of surprises.
Mira changes her presence in cycle of light and pale.
Our own "star", the balloon D – OBHH also changes his appearance from light to pale. Like all balloons, within the season they glow and out off the season they return to pale.
The "Wonderful" was the first gentle giant of our fleet. But not only that, she was the first big balloon registered for passenger flying in the North of Germany and surely changed the attitude of people towards the sky in every sense of the word.
For us this balloon is simply the "Wonderful" because with her the aviation side of Ballons über Hamburg started.
Antares is a huge star, called the red supergiant.
Antares is the brightest star in the constellation of Scorpius and one of the brightest stars in all the night sky. With a clear sky Antares can be seen every night.

The main feature, Antares the "red supergiant" not that much different than the balloon christened after his namesake..

Our red supergiant, is registered for 12 passengers, and when her burners are roaring, she also glows red in the Hamburg sky through out the season.
